About LN Language Solutions
Laura Nagle is a freelance translator and copyeditor. She holds American Translators Association certification in two language pairs: French into English (since 2007) and Spanish into English (since 2018). She also translates between Irish and English, having completed a Dioplóma Iarchéime san Aistriúchán (Postgraduate Diploma in Translation) through Coláiste na hÉireann in 2022, and holds a Specialized Certificate in Copyediting from UC San Diego Extended Studies. Laura received a Travel Fellowship from the American Literary Translators Association in 2020 and has translated Prosper Mérimée’s Songs for the Gusle (Frayed Edge Press, 2023), as well as numerous short works of prose and poetry from French and Spanish. She earned a master’s degree in Romance languages at the University of Pennsylvania and has pursued language study in France, Canada, Spain, and Ireland. She primarily translates and copyedits legal documents and academic articles in the arts and humanities, as well as publicity materials and program notes for classical musicians and music festivals. Prior to founding LN Language Solutions, she taught French and Spanish in US secondary schools for 16 years.
